Do an internet search to see if there is any negative feedback about the company, call and make sure the company’s phone number and physical address are real, make sure they have the proper licenses to be in business, even call and speak to the owner or boss of the company to clear up any questions about legitimacy that you might have.

Scam artists are smart and know how to take advantage of people looking for the perfect business.

Do not fall for their scams. Remember the old adage, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Check and double check your sources and read the fine print of any contract that you might be signing.

Also, trust your gut. If you have an uneasy feeling about an opportunity, move on, there are others out there that won’t leave you feeling unsure.

After you have done the appropriate research and have decided that a company is a good fit for you, you can begin the registration or start-up process for your new business.
