There are many possibilities for Internet jobs today. There are various services that you could perform for Internet businesses as well as offline businesses that have a presence online.

As with any job search it is important to list your skills and experience and create an online resume if you are looking for Internet jobs.

First of all this is important as it will help you find jobs that you are suited for and when you list your experience, this would include the duties that you performed for your past employers.

As the saying goes, 'you don't get a second chance to make a first impression', so be sure your resume has no spelling or grammar errors and has an easy to read format.

An easy to read format means that there should be some white space after the heading and between each reference. To make it more professional the use of bolding and caps for each heading is helpful.

Each job reference should list the company and the period you worked there, but you may prefer to have a separate page with the contact information for the individuals that may be contacted.

If this is the case, then at the bottom of the first page of your resume, you can put 'References Upon Request' so that you only give this to people who contact you after seeing your resume.

Internet jobs are no different from any other job as far as the need to convey that you are trustworthy, dependable and professional.

The skills required would usually involve using the computer and so you may wish to include a special skills section that lists what computer applications you can use and at what level.

When you send your resume you will want to use a cover letter via email, or to post online. As for attaching the resume in an email, this may impede your success, as many would not open attachments due to security concerns.

You can take the chance if you want to, but otherwise you could paste your resume into the email following the cover letter.

Keep in mind that a one-page resume is a good idea for Internet jobs as well as offline employment. Consider that the recruiter is likely receiving hundreds of resumes and so you will want to keep it brief and use compelling language that will increase your chance that your resume will stand out from the rest.

It's ok to fall a couple times but what is important is don't stay down when you fall, rise up and keep going.
