The first days of any new mlm company can fall into one of two categories: very, very busy or very, very slow. Your level of initial success really depends, then, on the amount of effort you are willing to put into your new business to get it off the ground.

Which way do you want your business to fall? If you are interested in hitting the ground running and getting your income rolling right from the start, follow these tips for the first days of your new company.

First, watch as many of the training videos and read as many of the handouts about the company as possible. It is most important that you understand your company and be very knowledgeable about its products. Spend less time on memorizing the commission structure and more time learning the sales techniques your business recommends.

Second, invite friends and family over for mock parties to practice delivering your information in an entertaining and understandable fashion.

This step offers two-fold benefits: you have an opportunity to share your company and its opportunities with people who might be interested in buying from you or joining you, and you also get feedback on your presentation style to make speaking with strangers an easier task.

Third, start drumming up leads at local coffee shops, temporary employment agencies, and through lead services online. Begin making calls and scheduling appointments with interested people within your first week of joining. Even as you are completing step one of this jump start process you can be working on step three.

This may seem like a lot of work, but it will create the momentum you need in your company to eventually create self-perpetuating income.

Your first days are so important to setting the stage for future successes. Throw yourself into your mlm company from the first day and each day will get busier and more successful from there.
